I’m no psycho tree-hugger, just a sportsman and balanced conservationist, but as I grow older myself and gain more wisdom and appreciation for TIME, whenever I see a majestic old growth tree like that felled my heart winces and breaks… What withstood eons of challenges is gone forever in mere hours for a very short term use or profit. Yes trees are “renewable” but at 100-500-1,000+yrs old they should be left untouched. Have areas designated as ‘tree farms’ where faster growing trees can be harvested, replanted and rotated… Leave the OLD GROWTH for our future children to be in awe of!
